If you are a fan of the Jerry Springer Show, you are familiar with this scene. But are you familiar with the true identity of Mr. Springer?

Who is this man, Jerry Springer? The Bible says Jerry Springer is a sinner: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23)." That's right. He is a sinner and there is absolutely nothing righteous about him as he parades immorality before a national audience. As a matter of fact, we're all sinners and there is nothing righteous about us. "We (Jerry Springer included) are as an unclean thing, and our righteousness are as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6)."

Mr. Springer contributes absolutely nothing to the betterment of our society; he tries to justify his sinful show with a commentary at the end. Jerry's commentaries are out of place because it's obvious that he doesn't care about the people who come on his show. Jerry could care less about their problems and immoral lifestyles. What he cares about is providing a circus act to boost TV ratings, and popularity.

Jerry gets a big laugh out of it all. But one day, he is going to die. And after that, there will be no more laughing. There will be no more foolishness; for if he dies without Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, in hell he will suffer eternal torment. In hell he will get his just reward.

What about you, are you saved? Have you ever trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins? Or are you like Mr. Springer who takes pleasure in foolish things of this world? The Bible says in Hebrews 9:27 "It is appointed unto man once to die, but after this the Judgment." Indeed, you are going to die one day. It could be today because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23)."

My friend, aren't you aware that Jesus Christ died on the Cross for your sins? Aren't you aware that He was buried and rose from the grave on the third day? Jesus Christ took your punishment, He died in your stead to keep you from an eternal hell. So, what will you do with Jesus? What will you do with Jesus? "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16)." Do you want eternal life? You can't have it if you continue to reject Jesus Christ and living life your way, for the fiery pit of hell will be your abode when you die.

You may be thinking to yourself, I'll get to heaven my own way. Let me tell you something, there is no other way to get there except through Jesus Christ. The Bible says in Proverbs 14:12 "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." In other words, you may have your own belief system when it comes to going to heaven, but if it is not according to God's word, you will experience eternal seperation from God in hell once you die. Jesus Christ made it clear in John 14:6 when He said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." You want to get to heaven? You want eternal life? You want to get around going to hell? Then you must repent and turned to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. There is simply no other way.

Jerry Springer, and all of his worldly success and popularity, could never impress a holy and righteous God. Promoting sin and immorality before the world is disgusting to God. And if Mr. Springer does not repent and call upon Jesus for forgiveness, when he dies, he will go straight to HELL. And you, sir or mam, will be there with Jerry if you refuse to do likewise and repent of your sins. I know you don't like what you just read, but it is truth and you will do good to believe it and receive it into your heart. "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved (Acts 4:12)."
