Jenny Jones
You thought you knew Jenny Jones, but today you will learn something about this woman that most people never knew.
The Bible says Jenny Jones is a sinner: "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). No matter how pretty her smile is or how wonderful she may appear to the masses on TV, God says "She is as an unclean thing, and her righteousness is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6)."
Jenny Jones has many makeovers on her shows, but God says her heart is in need of a serious makeover. Why? Because "It is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9)."
Jenny Jones may believe she is helping some folks with her show, and by doing so God will allow her entrance into heaven when she dies. But God says in Ephesians 2: 8-9, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."
The Bible says in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Do YOU have everlasting life? Only in Jesus Christ could you ever have everlasting life. Only in Jesus Christ could you ever make it into heaven. Jesus Himself says in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
You want to reside in heaven after you die? If so, you must get there through Jesus Christ, and not around Jesus Christ. You must be born again. You must accept Jesus Christ into your heart as Lord and Savior--believing when He died on the cross at Calvary, He died in your stead. He took what should have been your punishment for your sins: "For the wages of sin is death, but the Gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Will you receive the Gift or will you reject the Gift and continue to live life as you so please? The Bible says those who die without ever accepting the Gift, die in their sins. And if you die in your sins, Luke says in HELL you will open your eyes being in torments (Luke 16:23).
Now, you may not believe in this business about Hell, but guess what? Whether you believe in it or not, it'll still be there awaiting your arrival should you die without ever bowing the knee and trusting in Christ for the remission of your sins.
Today you have learned a lot more about Jenny Jones and about YOURSELF. So, I ask you: "What will you do with Jesus?" Will you ask Him now to come into your heart and save you? Or will you just continued on down that broad path that leads to destruction? The choice is yours.
